Teen Workshop
About this event:
Teen Workshop
It Takes a Village…
Scope of Proposal: This workshop insists that teen’s focus on their strengths, maintain self-awareness and self-confidence, learn survival and how to secure their financial potential.
Our organization understands that this is imperative to their progression.
Proposal Overview: We propose an ongoing workshop not only in hair and beauty, but, also in financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Most teens are eager to learn, they just don’t have the necessary platform. This platform allows them to be stress and worry free and is necessary, as the teen will not have to pay for anything they’re being taught in this workshop.
One of our goals is to take the term “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child” and make it real. This is a reality and will happen as it has in the past. We have had tremendous success over the past 20 yrs. with the annual “Kiddie 4th of July BBQ” and the “Prom Season Dress Drive”.
As a small business we were able to offer sponsorship using social media and the response for the “Teen Workshop for Sleek Ponytails” has been amazing.
Next Steps: As a potential partner we look forward to the opportunity to continue to build with your company; by engaging in this proposal, the positive outcome will not only affect our youth but also affect adults as well.
